Getting rid of your old mattress. Think twice.
If we can save you a few bucks before you venture out to buy that huge long-term asset called king size mattress here are a few advice worth considering. It might help you avoid some unnecessary expense that could be better used for something else.
1) Flip-flop: Try changing the position of your mattress. Sometimes all you need to do is flip and rotate your mattress to reduce the sags, bumps, lumps and dips caused by sleeping on one side of the bed for too long especially if it is an innerspring mattress. But this will not work if it is a foam mattress.
2) Pillow: Try and change the pillow for a better quality one depending on your sleeping position. Even if you sleep in the best king size mattress if the pillow is not of the quality that fits the firmness of the mattress or worse if it does not support your spine’s natural curve it is as bad as sleeping in a low quality mattress.
3) Foundation: If the foundation that you were using for your mattress is in good condition refrain from buying a new box spring even if you are tempted to. Sales people at the store are good at encouraging you to buy one anyways to take advantage of the warranty. Beware! They are trained to coax you into buying one in order to earn commissions for it.
And if nothing else works and if you have decided that you really have to buy one for whatever reason please pick a store like Costco that has a very friendly return policy. As to the best of our knowledge their range of the best king size mattress 2015 has a policy of free delivery as well as pick up from your place if you are not satisfied with it.
